Live Solutions feels the need to contribute to a balance between People, Planet and Profit. Honesty, being transparent, consciousness and being practical are the keywords we associate with this renewed balance.

We are aware of the impact that events can have on the environment. Fortunately there are ways to make a difference. That is why we point out alternative possibilities and ways to reduce the CO₂ footprint of an event to our clients.

How do we realize these goals:

• We point out locations that have the Greenkey and Start Energy certificate. We look for the most logical locations to organize an event. In this manner, the number of kilometers traveled by the production team, suppliers and most importantly the guests are reduced. Besides that we encourage visitors to use public transport. We also collaborate with organic caterers, when possible those close to the event location.
• We offer the possibility to compensate the CO₂ emissions of an event. We support the biggest windmill park in Taiwan which is certified through the Gold Standard climate project. Live Solutions supports this approach by compensating its own CO₂ emissions totally, which means that our offices are climate neutral.
• We develop amusing and 'alternative' ways of creating awareness. In this way the organizer of an event has the opportunity to make visitors aware of possible energy savings and CO₂ reduction.
• We aspire a long-term partnership with our clients. But to us it is just as important to maintain good relationships with our suppliers. Collaborating for a long period of time and on a regular base makes us a reliable partner. And very important: this leads to the highest quality events.
• A couple of things which are quite obvious: we are conscious about our own energy and paper usage at our offices. We turn off computers when we leave, we lower the central heating at the end of the day, or open a window on a warm day, instead of turning on the air-conditioning. All of the printed material we produce are printed on paper with an FSC-environmental certificate and most of our staff commute to and from the office by public transport or by push bike.
• We support the foundation Thai Child Development in several ways. This foundation takes care of orphans or children whose parents cannot or will not look after them. They do this by supplying food, providing a home and enabling children to enjoy an education. Thai Child Development gives interest-free loans or donations to children and young-adults so they can start an education, which help them to create better chances in life for themselves.
